I can buy oranges from another country in the dead of winter as well as fresh strawberries, lemons and bananas but try to buy a fruitcake in the new year.

Oh good, the chores are all done, no work, a sunny day.

As a young reporter I covered hundreds of city council and public board meetings of different government agencies.

New taxes, no problem. New spending on an engineering study for a new subdivision? Ok. No discussion, no ascension, no kidding. All the members agreed.
